The 6 steps to clean your face the right way

There are many different type of skin problems for the face. They can be in the form of blackheads, acne, sunburn, sebaceous hyperplasia and many more. Some of them are inextricably linked to the method of washing your face. If you use expensive cosmetics but not the correct method to wash your face, it will only cause more harm than good.

We have listed some simple yet essential steps to follow to wash your face the right way.

Step 1: The water temperature should be moderate

The temperature of the water you use to wash your face is crucial to washing your face correctly. Washing your face with water that is too hot or too cold is harmful to the skin and we should avoid it. The correct way to wash your face is to use warm water. This can ensure that the pores are fully opened, so that the moisture on the face will not be lost.

Step 2: Lather up the cleanser.

A facial cleanser is an essential tool to thoroughly cleanse your face. It can be in the form of cream, gel, foam or soap. No matter what kind of facial cleanser you use, the amount should be used adequately. As you squeeze the facial cleanser on your hands, lather up the cleanser on the palm of your hands before applying to your face. This step may seem easy, but it is often neglected by many people. This step is important as the facial cleanser will not achieve any cleansing at all if it does not foam enough. This is because the cleanser will remain in the pores even after washing the cleanser off your face with water. This will cause some nasty acne.

Step 3: Gently massage the face 15 times

Apply the lathered cleanser directly to the face, then use your fingers to gently massage the face in circular motions. Be careful not to apply too much force, as this can easily cause wrinkles. Every time you wash your face, massage it for about 15 times.

Step 4: Rinse off the facial cleanser

After massaging your face with a facial cleanser, wash it away with warm water. There is a misconception that washing off the cleanser isn't clean, so they like to scrub vigorously with a towel. This is not healthy for the skin because some bacteria may remain on the towel.

Step 5: Check the hairline

After washing, you will need to look at the hair close to the face to see if there is any facial cleanser left. This is important since acne results from inconspicuous foam.

Step 6: Rinse with cold water 20 times

After the above five steps are over, use both hands to wash your face with cold water about 20 times. The cold water helps to close the pores and increase the blood circulation of the face. It is indeed a magical weapon for women to keep their face clean and healthy!

By using the correct technique to wash your face, you can clear up any build up for healthier and smoother skin while keeping it hydrated and youthful-looking.
